1971 Mustang Project
This 71 Mustang was purchased in April of 2006 out of the backyard of my neighbor. It was not licensed and been sitting in the sun since 1985. What started to be a simple, get it on the road project, has turned into a little bit more of a restoration. We did not get early pictures of this project but will try to document some of the progress made this year.
In the last year the engine has replace with a 351 Cleveland with the proper date code, correct transmission was installed, new radiator, water pump, fuel pump, fuel tank, alternator, regulator, complete new brake system, disks front, drums rear, new Magnum 500 wheels and Dunlap GT Qualifiers, duel exhaust system with proper valence, a new steering wheel was installed and the car will eventually get an entire new interior. When the car is done it will resemble a Boss 351 Clone complete with wing, spoiler and all the proper markings.
